Why must we ask Joe permission for Ukraine to strike Russia?

Just got off the phone with my good friend Alik Kasman w/ Protect Ukraine Now

Have some important information for you & for SW Florida Congressmen - we urge the Congressmen to demand the White House UPEND the ridiculous constraint on Ukraine in order for our ally to hit strictly Russian military targets north of the Kharkiv region which is being pummeled right now by russia's terrorist invasion. We don't want another Mariupol. We need to stop Russia. Youtube link w/ explainer below.

Also within this list you will find a breakdown of the military budget for the $60 billion aid package to Ukraine - Half of which went to fund the US military.
Please remember this next time we need to re-up Ukraine on military weaponry, which will be soon, b/c $6b for short-term aid will be used up quick - missiles aint cheap.

Lastly, I'll be living & working in Ukraine beginning next month. If you are concerned about my safety please don't worry and instead demand that your Congressman enact the US to send Ukraine the Patriot Air Defense systems we are asking for.  Will touch base when i'm back mid - summer.

In the wake of terror, our country’s leaders set out to establish a precedent, that the US would not tolerate an attack on US soil. For our national security, we needed to respond. But along the way, we trusted but did not verify, and we set many weak and dangerous precedents which only emboldened our enemies.
